Jails – The Future

Based on the deliberations of sheriffs and jail administrators, CIPP prepared a report to BJA regarding the immediate and future challenges of operating local jails. These recommendations are the result of two working groups with 45 sheriffs and jail administrators, and are designed to guide future funding initiatives of BJA.

This resource is a one-of-a-kind look at what those who administer jails see everyday, as well as what they anticipate in the next five to ten years.
